In February 2024 I travelled to Delhi in India to work with ASHA Education charity in the slum colony of Seelampur. I had no expectations, was welcomed with love and open arms.
The group I travelled with were all teachers from Discovery Trust in Leicestershire UK, we worked with the children and young adults and celebrated ASHA's founding 35years ago by Dr Kiran Martin, a woman with a large heart and super powers.
