This is a creek, between our village of Autignac and St Geniés de Fontedit, on a very cold Sunday I was on a long walk and loved the reflections.

I don't like to work from photographs but at least if they are of scenes that you know what you felt at the time you can interpret them rather than copy them.

I needed to attack the canvas, so I did with a palette knife. It felt so good afterwards.
